IMCD N.V Appoints New Managing Director Turkey

IMCD N.V. ("IMCD" or "Company"), a leading distributor of speciality chemicals and food ingredients, announces that Aylin Zakuto has been appointed Managing Director Turkey, effective 1 June 2020. In her role, Aylin will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of IMCD Turkey, continue to maintain positive and trust based relations with business partners and customers to further strengthen IMCD Turkey's position in the market. Aylin is based in the Istanbul office and reports to Piet van der Slikke, Chief Executive Officer.

Aylin Zakuto, Managing Director, IMCD Turkey adds: 'IMCD Turkey has performed impressive growth in all market segments since the day it was established. Aylin is Turkish and first joined IMCD in 2008 as Technical Sales Product Manager, Pharmaceuticals. In 2009 she moved to Business Unit Manager, Life Sciences where she managed to successfully grow the markets of pharmaceutical, personal care, HI&I and textile. As of 2017, Aylin took the role of IPM handling strategic principles globally. Aylin has received her BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Organic Polymer Chemistry from the Universities of Boğaziçi and Marmara in Istanbul.
