Greenquat® BT, Hair Conditioner Greenquat® BT is a water-soluble, moisturizing cationic conditioner obtained from natural and recycled materials. Greenquat® BT is a unique hair conditioner in water-soluble form, compatible with transparent anionic surfactant systems. It delivers excellent moisturizing, smoothing and anti-frizz effect. It does not build-up on the hair and improves wet combing and reduces the fly-away. Suitable for palm-free formulations. Greenquat® BT can be used in shampoos, conditioners and cleansing lotions. It provides a velvety feeling in body care products as well as hair care products.   INCI: Polyglyceryl-3 Betainate Acetate (China compliant: Acetic Acid, Polyglyceryl-3 Oleate, Betaine)

0.25 - 0.5% antistatic effect as silicone replacement, 1.0 - 5.0% cationic conditioning effect.

Tests

• Delivers a conditioned and moisturized after-feel on damaged hair, • Improves dry detangling and dry combing in comparison with conventional 'quats' (CTAC, BTAC) (Graph 1), • Maintains the colour intensity high (Graph 2), • Lowers build-up charge. Greenquat® BT determines in vitro bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity against the S. aureus, S. epidermidis, C. albicans, E. coli, P. aeruginosa and A. brasiliensis strains. The product is more effective against P. aeruginosa and C. albicans which show greater sensitivity than the other strains. Greenquat® BT determines a bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity against the M. furfur, P. acnes, S. epidermidis, three from the most reliable cutaneous strains implicated in dandruff.
