GENII Acquires iVention iVention, a leading supplier of cloud-based laboratory execution systems, has been acquired by GSG GENII Software Group GSG GENII Software Group ("GENII") announced the completion of its purchase of iVention. Through its robust and adaptable iVention Lab Execution System (iLES), a software platform designed specifically for laboratory processes, iVention serves laboratories across a wide range of industries. Headquartered in Zwolle, The Netherlands, iVention distributes its solutions through a cloud-based laboratory automation platform that consolidates all essential features for lab automation in a single system. iLES, the comprehensive laboratory management system, enhances productivity and quality even in highly regulated environments by streamlining workflows and automating both routine and research operations. With iLES, laboratories gain access to real-time data, maintain data integrity, and ensure regulatory compliance while reducing costs and time through effective process automation and minimal manual data handling. iVention will now operate as part of GENII's Laboratories business unit, alongside other specialists such as ICD and Blomesystem, as GENII expands its clinical and non-clinical software solutions for the laboratory sector. Within the expanded Laboratories business, iVention will leverage GENII's customer base and geographic reach while receiving investment to pursue its goal of becoming a global top 5 iLES provider, competing with established players and capturing market share as the modern application of choice.
