Eco Sustainable Solution: By-products from blueberry juice production are used with consequent waste reduction. Production: Akott has developed a new extraction technique to extract polyphenols and anthocyanins from the waste of skins and seeds of blueberry (Vaccinium Corymbosum Misty). By-product press cake from fresh fruit pressing used for the production of juice has been used for the extraction.

Efficacy:

Blue Light Protection: In vitro testing on human keratinocytes shows reduction of blue light induced protein oxidation; ex vivo testing in human skin explants demonstrates inhibition of blue light induced skin differentiation, oxidation and melanogenesis. The History

Cilento is a wonderful region in southern Italy on the Campania coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea (Italian: Costiera Cilentana) between the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Policastro.
