Croda Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Croda celebrated its 10th year anniversary in Turkey on September 22nd with a boat tour at the Bosphorus together with its team members, business partners and guests. Regional Director EEMEA, Mine Enustun gave a speech to the audience about the past 10 years of Croda Turkey and memories from the very first days of the establishment. First established in 2011, Croda Turkey has grown into a fully operating sales office. In 2013, the Istanbul office first became a regional hub and managed business in neighbouring countries, Romania, Bulgaria, and Azerbaijan. In 2016, Greece and Israel were included in the responsibility of Croda Turkey. Croda creates, makes and sells specialty chemicals into three core market sectors: Consumer Care (Personal Care & Home Care), Life Sciences (Health Care & Crop Care) and Performance Technologies and Industrial Chemicals. In accordance with its fundamentals, Croda works closely with its customers, providing them innovative solutions with excellent technical and regulatory support. The journey that started with one person in the Turkey office in 2011 continues today with 18 valued team members. Managing Director of Croda Turkey, Burak Eryilmaz focused on the next 10 years of Croda in his speech, mentioning the commitments and targets regarding Croda's sustainability focus and commitment to the Earth. In July 2021, Croda became one of only three major chemical companies in the world to have its 1.5°C Science Based Target validated. As Croda, our commitment is to be Climate, Land and People Positive by 2030 and to be the most sustainable supplier of innovative ingredients. We will help provide solutions to some of the world's biggest challenges in the coming decades. The party continued with a 10th year anniversary cake and dancing with DJ music throughout the night. The audience was very pleased at the end of the party on the boat and even wanted to stay and enjoy further. We would like to thank all our guests who participated in this event by taking all protective and preventive measures in this special gathering that we could hold with a limited number of guests under pandemic conditions.
