Uludağ Exporters' Associations post $2.9 billion in exports

UIB Posts USD 2.9 Billion in Exports Uludağ Exporters Associations (UIB) recorded USD 2.9 billion in exports in June. UIB's June 2022 export figures have been released. UIB's June exports rose 15.8% year-on-year to USD 2 billion 892 million, while the 12-month rolling export total came to USD 31 billion 566 million. UIB officials noted that the first half of the year closed well particularly in the automotive and textile sectors, with the following comments: "The automotive industry is grappling with numerous challenges, notably the chip crisis. On the other hand, record export figures from our textile and apparel sectors are encouraging. We are closely monitoring industrial transformation in both automotive and textiles. Our goal is to increase exports through the investments we will make. There are also some challenges in agriculture. Reports suggesting a food crisis is at the door show that we need to take preventive measures in this area. Yet despite everything, our exporters continue to produce. For a sustainable economy and greater success, we must never abandon our export-oriented production strategy and high value-added manufacturing."

OIB USD 2.3 Billion

Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association (OIB) achieved USD 2 billion 331 million in exports in June, up 16.9% year-on-year. Its 12-month rolling performance came to USD 25 billion 790 million.

UTIB USD 127 Million

Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTIB) recorded USD 127 million 312 thousand in exports in June, up 6.3% year-on-year. UTIB's 12-month rolling exports came to USD 1 billion 437 million, up 18%.

UHKIB USD 113 Million

Uludağ Ready-Made Clothing and Confection Exporters Association (UHKIB) achieved USD 113 million 575 thousand in exports in June, up 27% year-on-year. Its 12-month rolling exports totaled USD 1 billion 102 million 333 thousand, up 24%.

UMSMIB USD 18 Million

Uludağ Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters Association (UMSMIB) recorded USD 18 million 250 thousand in exports in June. Its 12-month rolling exports came to USD 253 million 837 thousand, up 17%.

UYMSIB USD 19 Million

Uludağ Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association (UYMSIB) achieved USD 19 million 362 thousand in exports in June. Its 12-month rolling exports totaled USD 149 million 871 thousand. Meanwhile, exports in June for sectors recorded through UIB and listed under the "other" category rose 16.6% year-on-year to USD 282 million 434 thousand.
