The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), together with the Ministry of Commerce, released provisional foreign trade data for June. The TİM President, noting significant work accomplished in June exports, stated: "On 16 June, we held our general assembly with the attendance of our President and Ministers. At the same time, we announced the results of our Top 1000 Exporters research and presented awards to the export champions. Last week, we held a very productive meeting with our federation heads on the 'Export Master Plan'. As the umbrella organization for exports, our work and focus is exports. We are working around the clock to strengthen the positive contribution of net exports to growth in 2019 as well." Providing information on the number of exporting companies in June, the TİM President said: "In June, 32,973 of our companies exported, with 1,107 of these companies exporting for the first time in their history. I wish our newly joined companies long-lasting export success." Elaborating on details of June exports, the TİM President continued: "In June exports, Germany remained our leading country, with exports to this country reaching USD 1.075 billion. Germany was followed by the United Kingdom with USD 684 million and France with USD 639 million.
