TurkStat Releases Industrial Production Index

TÜİK Announces Industrial Production Index Industrial production increased 11.4 percent year-on-year. Industrial production in November posted an 11.4 percent year-on-year increase. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released the November industrial production index. According to the data, industrial production increased 11.4 percent year-on-year. When examining industrial subsectors (2015=100 base year), the mining and quarrying sector index rose 7.5 percent in November 2021 compared to the same month of the previous year, the manufacturing sector index increased 12.5 percent, and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sector index grew 4.0 percent.

Industrial Production Rose 3.3 Percent Month-on-Month

When examining industrial subsectors, the mining and quarrying sector index declined 1.6 percent in November 2021 compared to the previous month, while the manufacturing sector index increased 3.8 percent and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sector index grew 0.4 percent.
