SÜTAŞ Invests TRY 1.1 Billion in Bingöl

Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank noted that the SÜTAŞ Bingöl Integrated Facilities would bring agriculture and industry together, stating: "With this modern investment, Bingöl will no longer be a city losing population, but an Anatolian tiger city attracting migration. This integrated investment, valued at TRY 1.1 billion, will directly or indirectly activate many sectors ranging from cattle breeding to milk processing, feed production to electricity generation. It will revitalize not only Bingöl's economy but also that of neighboring provinces and the region. We view this project as a very important regional development initiative."

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli stated: "We need to utilize the contract production model, particularly in the livestock sector. We will certainly contribute to the establishment of these facilities through rural development support." Following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's call and within the framework of the investment decision taken by SÜTAŞ Board Chairman Muharrem Yılmaz, the "SÜTAŞ East-Southeast Anatolia Dairy Project Bingöl Integrated Technical Livestock and Manufacturing Industry Investment" included the launch of the "SÜTAŞ Bingöl Livestock Integrated Facility Impact Analysis" at the facilities under construction in Çeltiksuyu village. Minister Varank and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli attended the "SÜTAŞ Bingöl Impact Analysis Introduction Meeting" in Bingöl. In his remarks, Minister Varank stated that a valuable study had been conducted analyzing the socioeconomic impact that the SÜTAŞ Bingöl integrated technical livestock and manufacturing industry investment, nearing completion, would create in the region.   Source
