Şişecam Wins Gold and Honor Awards at ARC

Şişecam's 2021 annual report has been awarded the gold award and an honor award at the ARC (Annual Report Competition), organized by MerComm for the 36th time this year and recognized as one of the world's most prestigious annual report competitions. Şişecam was the only global company in its sector to win awards in both the traditional and interactive annual reports categories. Şişecam received two separate awards at the Annual Report Competition (ARC), organized by MerComm for the 36th time this year and known as the "Oscar of Annual Reports," in the 'Glass Manufacturing' category. Şişecam, a global player in all fundamental areas of glass including flat glass, household glassware, glass packaging and glass fiber, as well as in business lines encompassing soda and chromium compounds, won the gold award in the 'traditional annual report' category while earning an honor award in the 'interactive annual reports' category with its digital annual report. With its 2021 Annual Report, Şişecam was the only company in its sector to win awards in both categories in a competition that evaluated the annual reports of 1,656 companies from 33 countries. The ARC Awards, which bring together communication professionals and honor excellence in annual reports, are recognized as one of the most important award ceremonies in business and financial circles. The award evaluations consider criteria such as how the report tells the year's story, language used, creativity and design perception.
