Erzurum Generated USD 62 Million in Foreign Trade
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Ministry of Commerce shared preliminary foreign trade data produced within the context of the general trade system. During January-September of this year, Erzurum recorded exports of USD 17 million 53 thousand, imports of USD 45 million 130 thousand, totaling USD 62 million 183 thousand in foreign trade.
According to DOSİAD analysis, Erzurum's ratio of exports to imports stood at 24.89 percent on a monthly basis for September, and 37.8 percent for the January-September period as a whole. Exports accounted for 30.63 percent of total foreign trade value in September's record, and 37.78 percent for the January-September period combined.
