Operating in the flour and food sector under the Sinangil and Sinangil Gluten YOK brands, Eksun Gıda reported that its strategies focused on operational efficiency, digitalization, product diversification and sustainability have had positive reflections on financial results.

Strong growth in EBITDA and margins
According to the disclosed financial results, Eksun Gıda's gross profit rose 3.2% compared to the same period last year, reaching TRY 417 million. Gross profit margin increased from 11.3% to 14.1%.

Improvement in financial leverage
Eksun Gıda's debt-to-equity ratio declined from 1.68 at the end of 2025 to 1.43 at the end of the first quarter of 2026. The company stated that this decline supports improvements in financial risk management.

"We are progressing steadily toward our 2026 targets"
Eksun Gıda Group Chairman and CEO Hasan Abdullah Özkan, commenting on the financial results, said that the increase in profitability stems from disciplined cost management and operational efficiency.

Özkan said, "Based on data prepared under TMS 29, in the first quarter we improved our margins and strengthened our financial structure."

Data-driven management and supply strength
Emphasizing the critical role of field organization and data-driven management approach in the company's performance, Özkan stated:

"In addition to our ERP systems, we implement a multi-layered management model leveraging real-time data from the field and artificial intelligence-supported analytical capabilities. By managing raw material supply at the right time and with the right quality, we increase our operational strength."

Exports to over 20 countries
Noting that Eksun Gıda continues to grow at a global scale, Özkan stated that the company conducts exports to over 20 countries.

Stating that they operate with a sales network spanning all 81 provinces of Turkey, Özkan said they conduct exports across a wide geography, primarily including Europe, America, Central Asia and Africa.

Research and development and sustainable production investments
