Our iron and non-ferrous metals, chemicals, ready-made garments, aquatic products and animal products, and fresh fruit sectors reached three-digit export figures. EIB's share of agricultural exporters in exports increased from 34% to 42%. We can say that our region's agricultural sector is keeping exports afloat. We expect our agricultural exports to exceed USD 7 billion within the next three months." Jak Eskinazi stated: "To increase the number of exporting companies in the Aegean Region and strengthen our ties, we are organizing 'Aegean Export Meetings' to discuss issues facing exports with all our stakeholders, visiting our members in their own cities. Our exporters are extremely diligent. If the appropriate climate is provided, we project that we will exceed USD 18 billion in 2023. We are more hopeful starting from the second half of 2023. As EIB, we have started our contacts with distant markets with our Malaysia and Colombia trade delegations, and our exporters are fulfilling their responsibilities."
