Bursa Achieves $2.75 Billion in Exports

Bursa Achieves USD 2.75 Billion in Exports Uludağ Exporters Associations' (UİB) October 2022 exports, which ranks as Turkey's second-largest exporting union by General Secretariat basis, reached USD 2 billion 746 million 564 thousand. UİB's trailing 12-month export volume reached USD 31 billion 744 million 317 thousand, representing a 3% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. UİB Coordinator Chairman Baran Çelik stated that despite inflationary trends and recession risks in the global economy as the year approaches its end, Turkish exporters continue their path with the strength drawn from production and continue to contribute to the country's economy. Çelik emphasized that the union is working with all its strength with UİB members to reach the 2022 targets.

OİB's October exports reach USD 2.3 billion

Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association (OİB), which achieved USD 2 billion 272 million 308 thousand in exports in October, reported trailing 12-month performance of USD 25 billion 876 million 544 thousand. Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTİB) recorded USD 106 million 850 thousand in exports in October. UTİB's trailing 12-month exports reached USD 1 billion 404 million 274 thousand, representing a 9% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. Uludağ Ready-made Garments and Apparel Exporters Association (UHKİB), which achieved USD 81 million 108 thousand in exports in October, reported trailing 12-month exports of USD 1 billion 116 million 514 thousand, representing a 19% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.  

Uludağ Processed Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters Association

In October, Uludağ Processed Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters Association (UMSMİB) achieved USD 29 million 688 thousand in exports, representing a 37% increase compared to October of the previous year. In the trailing 12-month period, the association achieved USD 277 million 636 thousand in exports, representing a 21% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.  

Uludağ Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association

In October, Uludağ Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association (UYMSİB) achieved USD 14 million 49 thousand in exports, representing a 14% increase compared to the same month of the previous year. In the trailing 12-month period, the association recorded USD 141 million 133 thousand in external sales. Meanwhile, exports in October for sectors recorded through UİB and listed under the 'other' category reached USD 242 million 557 thousand.
