Bonna Becomes Export Champion in Its 10th Year

Bonna, Turkey's first 100% HoReCa brand, continues to document its export success with awards it receives each year. At the Champions of Exports Awards, organized for the sixth time this year by the Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Clay Products Exporters Association (ÇCSIB), Bonna won first place as the “Highest Exporter” in the Porcelain Tableware and Kitchenware category. Since 2014, the brand has created elegance at hotel, restaurant and catering tables, reaching the top of exports in just 10 years. Today, Bonna, which completes the presentations of kitchen professionals and creative chefs in more than 100 countries across 6 continents, supplies 40 million products annually to the sector.
Bonna, established under the Kar Porcelain umbrella and beginning operations in a small ceramics workshop in 1983, has added another achievement to its export success. At the Champions of Exports Awards, organized for the sixth time this year by the Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Clay Products Exporters Association, Bonna took first place as the “Highest Exporter” in the 2023 Porcelain Tableware and Kitchenware Category. With this award, Bonna reached the top of exports in its 10th year.

With Kar Porcelain's 40 years of experience in the sector, Bonna supplies 40 million products annually to the sector and exports to a total of 109 countries across 6 continents. Primarily exporting products to Europe, Russia and Latin America, the company's largest export markets are Spain, Egypt, Italy, Russia, Mexico, Sweden, France and Germany. Bonna, which introduced innovations such as underglaze hand-decoration technique, the first square form and digital decoration to the sector and was the first to offer edge chipping warranty, thereby extends the service life of its products and reduces plate loss in the HoReCa sector from around 40% to 5-6%.
Bonna also received third-place awards in the same category in 2019 and 2020, and second-place awards in 2021 and 2022, documenting its export success. The brand, which also won the 2020 “Highest Export Unit Price Company” award, also returns with awards from prestigious international competitions thanks to its unique designs.
