ARTA Tekstil Becomes Decathlon Supplier

ARTA Tekstil, which differentiates itself in the textile sector through environmentally conscious production processes and sustainability principles, has been approved as Decathlon's first and currently only "Natural Fabric" supplier in Europe. The collaboration was made possible by ARTA Tekstil's wastewater treatment performance, flue gas emission values, heat and water recovery rates and other environmental criteria, as well as compliance with operating conditions such as occupational safety and worker health, and the use of certified products in all chemicals used for production that do not harm humans or nature.

The "Natural Fabric" collaboration once again demonstrates the superior performance of ARTA Tekstil, Turkey's leading sustainable textile producer, in quality, sustainability and social compliance. For Decathlon's "Natural Fabric" category, which predominantly covers non-synthetic natural fiber fabrics, fabrics expected to demonstrate high performance undergo various tests and parameters. While product properties such as shrinkage resistance, abrasion, strength and water repellency are carefully evaluated, compliance with environmental criteria and occupational safety standards is also of great importance. ARTA Tekstil, which demonstrates high compliance with all these standards, will produce fabrics with natural fibers based on cotton and cotton blends such as cotton-lycra or cotton-polyester.

Goal: Extending the partnership long-term

Under the collaboration, as Decathlon's first and only natural fabric supplier in Europe, all future production inquiries will come to ARTA Tekstil.
