Akdeniz Chemson Continues Investment Efforts in the Sector

Following the consolidation of its chemical-sector subsidiaries Akdeniz Kimya and Chemson under the "Akdeniz Chemson" brand, OYAK continues to accelerate its efforts with the aim of becoming the world's largest PVC stabilizer producer. Having secured market leadership in Russia through investments made over the past two years, Akdeniz Chemson is now building a factory in China to increase its market share in that region. With a total investment of USD 27 million, the facility will be constructed using the latest technologies and will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tonnes. The investment, made to meet growing demand in the Chinese market, is drawing attention as a move that will strengthen Akdeniz Chemson's position as a global market leader. Akdeniz Chemson, the world's leading PVC stabilizer producer, is realizing its first investment following the merger in China. With this investment aimed at meeting growing demand in the Chinese market, increasing production capacity, and delivering superior quality-focused service, Akdeniz Chemson is expected to roughly triple its production capacity for the Chinese market in the initial phase. The factory, which will increase Akdeniz Chemson's global PVC stabilizer output, will be implemented in two phases with a total investment of USD 27 million. In the first phase, with a USD 17 million investment, the facility targets 30,000 tonnes of production; in the second phase, a USD 10 million investment will add another 30,000 tonnes to production. Equipped with the latest technologies, the factory will stand out through its infrastructure, skilled workforce, and superior logistics network in innovation-driven initiatives. With this facility, Akdeniz Chemson will also become a pioneer in calcium-zinc stabilizer systems in China.
