Abdi İbrahim Wins Award for Sustainability Report

Over 109 years, Abdi İbrahim has marked another success on its improvement journey pursued with courage, passion and responsibility. The 2017-2018 Sustainability Report prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, which covers Abdi İbrahim's economic, corporate, social and environmental activities, has been awarded in the Corporate Reports category at the Golden Compass awards. Since 1912, Abdi İbrahim has worked to improve the lives it touches, and proceeding from the understanding that the world is borrowed from future generations, it focuses on continuous improvement in all its activities. With 109 years of history and 19 years of sector leadership, in addition to meaningful success stories in sustainability, Abdi İbrahim's 2017-2018 Sustainability Report has been awarded in the Corporate Reports category at the Golden Compass awards.

Report has been shared with the public since 2013

As a participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) since 2010, Abdi İbrahim focuses on conducting its sustainability work within the framework of 10 global principles and publishes its Progress Statement each year. Taking continuous steps to improve itself in the sustainability field, Abdi İbrahim has presented its sustainability report to the public since 2013. Prepared with an integrated approach in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards: Core Principles, United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) requirements, the report consists of qualitative and quantitative data compiled from Abdi İbrahim's headquarters, production facilities and field units. In its 4th Sustainability Report covering the 2017-2018 period, Abdi İbrahim includes corporate, economic, human resources and environmental data along with projects conducted with internal and external stakeholders in the light of GRI, UNGC and WEPs reporting requirements and the principles of materiality and stakeholder engagement.
