Sandvik joins GE Additive's Binder Jet Beta Partner Program

GE Additive announced that Sandvik Additive Manufacturing has become a strategic partner in the Binder Jet beta partner program. Sandvik operates one of the market's broadest alloy portfolios for additive manufacturing, marketed under the Osprey® brand. Sandvik will work closely with GE Additive and AP & C to become a certified powder supplier for various Osprey® alloys that complement their material portfolio, and will also use GE Additive's H2 Binder Jet beta machine to support both internal and external customers. GE Additive's Binder Jet beta partner program leverages the company's strength in industrializing its additive technology with strong technical and innovative partners to rapidly scale Binder Jet technology. The initial phase involves transforming the beta H2 system into pilot lines and eventually a factory solution to be commercially available in 2021.
