Hexagon Composites Opens Trade Center in Munich, Germany

Hexagon Composites opened a new trade centre in Munich, Germany on 4 November 2021. The centre is strategically positioned near Europe's largest automotive manufacturers, leading European original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and fleet operators. The centre will provide customer support to the market in coordination with the expansion of Hexagon's production capacity. Its purpose is to further strengthen customer proximity with market resources in the fields of application engineering and after-sales support. Eric Bippus, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Marketing at Hexagon Agility, said: "The transition to alternative fuels in Europe is being driven by fleets and brands that want to lead decarbonisation efforts. The pace of development requires strong and close collaboration with each of them. With this new commercial centre in Europe, we are better positioned to support OEMs and fleets focused on meeting OEM application engineering and programme management demands in the adoption of Hexagon's broad clean solutions portfolio. Technical after-sales and support will also be increased from the Munich location." Hexagon Composites points out that to achieve its goal of climate neutrality by 2050, the European Union (EU) transport emissions must be reduced by 90 per cent compared to 1990 levels. Additionally, the global market for alternative fuels is expected to grow approximately fourfold by 2025, reaching approximately USD 8 billion.
