DOMO Chemicals and ZARE Accelerate Sinterline® 3D-Printed Part Production
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) material innovation leader DOMO Chemicals is strengthening its position as a key player in the additive manufacturing sector through a partnership with 3D printed parts service bureau ZARE.
ZARE operates as an Additive Manufacturing Production Factory, a service bureau dedicated to producing ready-to-use objects by combining Industrial 3D printing technologies with various core services both before and after the printing process.
As manufacturers transition from prototyping to serial production, 3D printed parts producers are demanding higher mechanical and thermal performance standards from their suppliers.
Through this partnership with ZARE, DOMO will further strengthen its value proposition and will be in a stronger position to support the automotive and consumer electronics industries in harnessing the full potential of additive manufacturing.
Sinterline Program Leader Dominique Giannotta states, "OEMs and tier suppliers in the automotive and consumer industry product markets are increasingly requesting our solutions as the most suitable tool to accelerate the transition to additive manufacturing."
Giannotta: "DOMO Chemical's Sinterline® Technyl® product is a PA6 powder precursor.
Through our partnership with ZARE and parts manufacturing capabilities, our offering will become a reference for OEMs and tier parts suppliers. This will help us further enhance the value chain of 3D printed parts with solutions that bring high-performance components to life for highly demanding markets." ZARE Sales Manager Giuseppe Pisciuneri states: "The newly developed Sinterline Technyl PA6 6300HT powders offer easy processability, excellent mechanical performance, durability and very high melting temperature. This PA6 powder class can be widely used in applications where components are exposed to wear or friction. We cover all additive manufacturing technologies with 25 industrial-grade machines. Sinterline products help us maintain perfect control of production processes and guarantee consistent and reproducible results in production." HUB by Sinterline, specially designed to enhance 3D printed parts potential, supports customers from design and material selection through parts testing. In doing so, it combines all specialised expertise to support innovation and accelerate time to market: the advanced predictive simulation tool of MMI® Technyl® Design, flexible parts testing together with APT® application performance testing, with rapid and functional prototyping in Sinterline 3D printing services. Technyl® is a trademark of DOMO. Until 1 February 2022, DOMO will not sell or distribute Technyl grades to customers and distributors outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland.Advertisement
