Clariant Signs Catalysis Research Partnership with University of Zurich
Clariant, a focused, sustainable and innovative specialty chemicals company, has signed a collaboration agreement with ETH Zurich to provide significant financial support over a ten-year period to back research in catalysis and sustainable chemistry. The partnership aims, first, to advance understanding of catalyst properties—from nano to macro scale—and their performance. Second, together with the ETH Foundation, Clariant will sponsor and collaborate on fundamental chemical research projects by supporting talented ETH scientists and students.
Hans Bohnen, member of Clariant's Executive Committee, said: "We are honored to announce our research agreement with the prestigious ETH Zurich. Like our partnerships with other academic institutions, it underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and R&D to develop groundbreaking products and solutions that create value for people, industries and the environment."

Clariant's research collaboration with ETH Zurich marks another important milestone for the company and further expands its partnerships with leading global academic institutions, including the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and Tianjin University, China.
