Clariant Launches PTFE-Free Texturizing Agent

Growing concerns about PFAS' impact on human health and the environment have driven increased demand for PTFE alternatives. As part of this trend, Clariant launched Ceridust 8170 M, a PFAS/PTFE-free agent with texture effects for Architectural Powder Coatings. The new additive, which can be used across applications ranging from window frames and fence surfaces to furniture and bicycle rims, delivers excellent performance in dark and light colors with adjustable gloss and texture levels without extrusion defects.
