NOV-T Model Mechanically Sealed Pumps
Klaus Union GmbH, which was established in 1946 in Bochum, Germany and whose main product is magnetic driven pumps, invested in Turkey in 2021 during the pandemic period when investments stopped and established the Klaus Union Türkiye factory. In this way,
a variety product and a new logistic way were gained.
We as Klaus Union Türkiye are producing chemical industrial pumps with mechanical seals in accordance with ISO 2858 standard in our factory in Kemalpaşa, İzmir, which covers an area of 1250 m2 for now. Although only one year has passed since our establishment,
the NOV-T model mechanically sealed pumps we manufacture; started to be commissioned in chemical, mining, petrochemical and power plants.
As a standard, we can deliver pumps with 1.4408 material in a short time, depending on stock status. Apart from 1.4408 material, we can also provide 1.0619, 9.4539 (904L),
1.4409 material options.

All of our raw materials and semi products coming from internal and external suppliers enter our system after the quality controls. All pump casings entering our system are subjected to hydrostatic testing in accordance with EN ISO 5199 standard.
With our test bench, we can test pumps up to 600 m3/h and 16 bar for now. All pumps that come out of Klaus Union Turkey factory are tested 100% and our pumps are shipped with test values.
We can do 4-hour mechanical operating test (Klaus Union Standard), bearing temperature test (ISO 5199), sound pressure level test (EN ISO 20261), NPSH test (EN ISO 9906), vibration tests (EN ISO 9906) as requested from our customers in our test system.
The standard shaft material of NOV-T model pumps is 1.4462 duplex material, which has a high resistance to corrosion and mechanical strength, and since the shaft thickness is used in a top class according to many manufacturers, the loads on the bearings are balanced, thus minimizing the possible bearing failures.
The impeller balancing of the pump is provided by the vanes on the rear wings or by the wear rings according to the design. In this design, Klaus Union keeps the material wall
thickness high, allowing pumps that can operate for longer years.
