Claros Technologies has been chosen to participate in the Tech Founders Accelerator Program in order to capture and recover high-demand metals.
Claros Technologies was chosen by the Tech Founders Accelerator program to collaborate with the German multinational specialty chemicals company Lanxess to develop solutions for the capture and recovery of valuable metals used in electric batteries, such as lithium, cobalt, cadmium, and nickel.
Claros is one of only ten European and American startups chosen for the 16th batch of the international start-up accelerator.
Tech Founders was founded in 2015 with the goal of driving corporate innovation by connecting the world's leading companies with startups and providing coaching as well as a €25,000 project budget.
During the 20-week program, Claros' research and development director, Dr. John Brockgreitens, will collaborate with the Lanxess team to apply Claros' technology platform to enable new functionalities in Lanxess' ion-exchange resins.
