Petkim Increased Its Sales in the Last 9 Months
The net profit of Petkim, a subsidiary of SOCAR Turkey, was 3 billion 909 million liras in the 9 months of the year. According to the written statement made by the company, despite the negative conditions in the petrochemical markets, Petkim increased its sales and reduced its debts with its performance in the said period.
Petkim’s total sales in this period reached 19 billion 165 million liras. The 9-month net profit of the company was 3 billion 909 million liras in total. Petkim had a net
profit of 446 million liras in the same period of last year.

In the said period, Petkim’s equity increased by 50 percent compared to the end of 2020, while its total indebtedness decreased by 261 million dollars. In a period when supply constraints were experienced along with the increase in demand for petrochemical products, Petkim continued its production uninterruptedly with the integration of STAR Refinery. In this period, when product diversity and uninterrupted production were reflected in total sales, capacity utilization rose from 89.5 percent to 92.2 percent.
