KIMfoot® Footwear Systems Being among Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises, Kimpur is a polyurethane system house with 39 years of experience in the chemical industry and the largest capacity of 129.000 tons in Turkey and 25.000 tons in Europe (subsidiary in Latvia). With its investment in Duzce, the company aims to increase its total production capacity to approximately 200,000 tons and to be among the top 10 system houses in the world. Kimpur has been producing tailor-made polyurethane systems for all kinds of soles. Our footwear product line, called KIMfoot® has a wide variety from low-density slippers and sports systems to high-density safety footwear systems. This product line is divided into different groups based on their areas of usage.
Steps to Win
KIMfoot® Sports Sole Systems are three-component, low-density polyester-based systems. They offer advantages such as high flex resistance, high comfort, shiny skin appearance and low density. Today, the most common problem in the sole systems is the deterioration of physical properties as the density decreases. Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Sports Sole Systems do not lose its elasticity at molded densities of 340- 380 kg/m3. In addition to a weight advantage of %10-20 based on the mold volume, it also offers the advantage of high cold flex resistance, which is one of the most significant features of a shoe sole. kimfoot
Light and Flexible Steps
Kimpur offers dozens of different solutions for all needs and processes for slipper systems. It developed the KIMfoot® NG and KIMlite® Slipper Systems, which have ultra-low density, flexible, hard and soft alternatives. Kimpur launched the Unique Ultra-Low Density KIMfoot® Slipper System in June, which has 210 kg/ m3 molded density, smooth skin structure and high dimensional stability. This system ensures a 20% weight advantage compared to the low-density products in the sector and enables the production of slippers with high elasticity and very good physical properties. In addition, it offers a production advantage with its short demoulding time, wide working range and easy to melt prepolymer. Finally, in September, Kimpur launched the polyester polyol, synthesized from PET bottle wastes. Approximately 20% and 17% of the polyester polyols used in the manufacture of slippers consists of PET wastes and bio-based raw materials, respectively. Comfortable Steps
Kimpur also designs unit sole systems based on the seasons like winter, spring and hard summer seasons.KIMfoot® Unit Sole Systems offer different features depending on the demands and utilization conditions of our customers, and do not lose the elasticity at low temperatures, they show high resistance to slipping. The spread of the mixture in the mold during the production allows even the most complicated patterns to be produced perfectly. The spring systems maintain their dimensional stability even at low densities between 320-350 kg/m3 and make a difference in the sector with their weight advantage. Our hard summer shoe systems ensure in the density range of 380-420 kg/m3.
Safety Steps
Our company, the leader of the polyurethane shoe sole sector in Turkey, also develops polyurethane systems for occupational safety shoe soles, which play a major role in the protection of workers working in heavy industry. Safety Shoe Systems provide both safe and comfortable steps in order to provide the long-lasting usage experience and comply with the EN ISO 20345: 2012 and EN 61340-5-1 standards. The safety shoes can be produced with single or double density and have various features. The safety shoes with antistatic properties should be preferred in sectors where static electricity poses a great danger. KIMfoot® Safety Shoe Systems offer the advantage of high resistance against chemical spills and demonstrate high hydrolysis resistance in working areas with high humidity.

KIMfoot® Boots Systems (compliant with EN ISO 20345 standards) can be used in daily life as well as in harsh working environments and offer users the advantage of long-lasting use thanks to its flexibility, high comfort and durability. Our systems show superior resistance against harsh weather conditions and are also durable at low temperatures and suitable for use in summer months.  
Ergonomic Steps
We are aware of the importance of choosing the insole based on the foot structure in terms of foot health. Therefore, we have developed the two-component polyether-based KIMfoot® Fussbett Systems for use in insole applications. These systems offer advantages such as weight advantage, short demoulding time, production efficiency, smooth skin structure and high comfort. The Kimpur R&D team continues to obtain accurate analyzes and fast results using low pressure machines and necessary equipment in the simulation center, in line with the needs of our customers.
