Kale Care Chemicals, a Türkiye-based manufacturer of surfactants and specialty chemical ingredients, is expanding its production infrastructure with the commissioning of its second production facility in Tuzla in September 2026.
The new facility will increase the company’s total annual production capacity to 100,000 metric tons, supporting its international growth strategy while enhancing production flexibility, supply reliability and responsiveness to customer demand.
With the additional capacity, Kale Care Chemicals aims to strengthen its ability to serve customers and distribution partners across international markets with consistent product quality, greater manufacturing flexibility, shorter lead times and enhanced supply security.
New capacity to support global growth
Kale Care Chemicals generates approximately 62% of its revenue from exports and currently serves more than 40 countries. The company supports its international presence through a direct distributor network across multiple markets and plans to leverage its expanded manufacturing capacity to accelerate global growth.
Operating in the home and personal care chemicals industry since 1975, Kale Care Chemicals develops and manufactures surfactants and specialty chemical ingredients for personal care, home care and industrial applications.
Its product portfolio includes anionic, amphoteric, nonionic and cationic surfactants, as well as betaines, amine oxides, sulfosuccinates, cetrimonium chloride, cationic conditioning agents and benzalkonium chloride.
The company also develops customized surfactant and formulation systems tailored to specific industry and application requirements.
The new investment is expected to strengthen Kale Care Chemicals’ capacity to respond to increasing demand for high-volume products while further expanding its product development capabilities and customized solutions in specialty chemical ingredients.

More than 50 years of manufacturing experience
Founded in 1975 by Chemical Engineer Kazım Kaleağası, Kale Care Chemicals is now managed by members of the second generation of the founding family.
Over more than five decades, the company has built its technological expertise around advanced reaction and process technologies. Its capabilities span emulsion technologies, preservation systems and advanced reaction chemistry, supported by a broad range of manufacturing processes.
Kale Care Chemicals’ manufacturing infrastructure supports advanced chemical reactions including quaternization, esterification, amidation, oxidation, alkylation and polymerization, as well as solubilization, emulsification, systems engineering, flaking and pelletizing.
