HMG's new CFB system offers ACE and Haulage Equipment Manufacturers a new solution.
A new two-component, high solids polyurethane system introduces a high gloss finish more commonly associated with vehicle refinishing to the extremely demanding ACE and haulage markets.
HMG Paints, the UK's largest independent paint manufacturer, has expanded its ACE (Agricultural and Construction Equipment) range with the introduction of the new high build 2-pack polyurethane CFB 2K System.
CFB 2K Primer can be used Wet on Wet and has been formulated to provide excellent sanding properties, adhesion and corrosion protection for steel substrates used throughout the Agricultural and Construction Equipment marketplace.
Because of the excellent flow properties of CFB 2K Topcoat, the system delivers a great finish for both OEM's and Refinishes when used in conjunction with the primer.
CFB 2K Topcoat has a high gloss finish with excellent gloss retention and is resistant to chemical and atmospheric attack, making it ideal for use in demanding environments.

The CFB 2K System can be applied via Compliant Spray Gun, Pressure Pot or Airless/Air-Assisted and provides a host of economic and environmental benefits. As a high-solids product, CFB 2K significantly reduces VOC emissions during production and application.
Additionally, the primer and topcoat utilise the same hardener and thinners reducing costs and stock holding for the applicator. These features allow users to gain significant benefits from this high-quality, cost-effective system.
The CFB 2K System will also utilise HMG’s new ColourBase Colour Box which features 2400 colour chips, displayed in chromatic order within 20 fan decks. The ColourBase Colour Box has cross references to a number of colours from the ACE industry and users can also chip up against a product to identify the perfect colour.
Colors are created using HMG's innovative UNIT colorants, allowing CFB to be available in a wide range of additional colors, including popular RAL and British standard variations.
HMG Paints maintains an unrivaled color library of over 200,000 colors, all of which are available from HMG or through local, independent distributors across the UK and Ireland who stock a variety of products and offer color matching services.
HMG's color matching and color development service, which produces over 5000 custom color matches per year, produces a consistent result across a variety of applications and systems.
