Halavet Gıda, which started its activities under the roof of İskefe Holding in 2011, is one of the most important players in the world with its edible food gelatin. With its exports to more than 60 countries and its factory with the largest gelatin production facility in Europe, it has managed to become one of the most important players in the sector in the last 10 years. While producing 15 thousand tons of edible bovine gelatin annually in 2 factories located in Turkey, it aims to increase collagen production, which is 2 thousand tons in the year, to 6 thousand tons with new investments.
100 Percent Traceability
From the entry of the raw material into the factory to the moment it is processed and shipped as a product, gelatin production is carried out from 100 percent natural bovine skin, where all production stages are traceable. Halavet Gıda keeps all stages of its production under end-to-end control with its documents and does not compromise on quality standards. Halavet Gıda applies ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management Systems during the production stages. Within the framework of the European Union compliance criteria, production is carried out in accordance with EU norms, EC No 853/2004, EC No 2073/2005 and GMIA and GME Standard Test Methods determined for edible gelatin. Our company also shows the interest and sensitivity it shows in the supply of raw materials during the production stages, and it can provide traceability criteria above world standards with the investments it has made in its sector. It is certified by TSE according to TS OIC/SMIIC 1 standard and also has BRC-A Grade and GMP certificates.
