Milliken & Company ("Milliken"), a global diversified manufacturer with more than a century and a half of materials science knowledge, has completed the formal acquisition of Encapsys, LLC ("Encapsys"), a world leader in microencapsulation, from the Cypress Performance Group LLC ("Cypress"). On October 18, 2021, the acquisition was officially completed.

As Encapsys integrates into Milliken, daily operations will continue without interruption, including relationships with existing suppliers and customers.
Encapsys, based in Appleton, Wisconsin, is a pioneer in microencapsulation technologies, which construct capsules by wrapping a homogeneous polymeric shell around a core material at the micron level.
Microencapsulation is used in a variety of industries and aids in the development of more sustainable products by promoting responsible consumption and effective delivery of active chemicals.
