Dow and Univar Solutions announced a long-term agreement to offer and distribute Dow's Decarbia low-carbon products with Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) certificates across key markets including beauty and personal care, home care, food, pharmaceuticals and various industrial performance segments.

The companies said the agreement expands customer access to low-carbon products through Univar Solutions' global distribution network, helping address growing demand and supporting customers' Scope 3 emissions reduction targets.

Dow stated that the carbon footprints of these products are calculated using its Carbon Footprint Ledger methodology, which is limited assured under international PCF standards including ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol Product Standard.

Dow executive Brendy Lange said the agreement deepens collaboration with Univar Solutions and combines Dow's low-carbon product portfolio and verifiable PCF data with Univar's distribution reach to help customers pursue sustainability goals with confidence. Univar Solutions CEO David Jukes said the partnership broadens access to low-carbon products and provides more impactful supply chain alternatives across its customer base.

Both companies said they continue investing in sustainable solutions and capabilities in response to growing demand for low-carbon products. They described the agreement as the next step in a longstanding collaboration aimed at supporting both near-term and long-term sustainability goals.
