DiscoveryLifeSciences Announces Major Strategic Expansions
With the support of the State of Alabama and HudsonAlpha, Discovery has inaugurated its new global headquarters building in Huntsville, spanning 93,000 square feet. This distinctive facility consolidates Discovery's biospecimen products and multi-omic biomarker and analytics services under one roof.
Discovery offers access to one of the world's largest biospecimen inventories, coupled with leading genomic, proteomic, molecular pathology, flow cytometry, and cell biology technologies.
This comprehensive suite of services caters to research and development programs, ranging from target assay validation to the most extensive global clinical trials, necessitating single or sequential technology assessments. Importantly, the facility ensures stringent quality control and regulatory compliance by maintaining the sample's chain of custody within its premises.
Simultaneously, Discovery's AllCells Division has relocated to its new divisional headquarters at 1640 South Loop Rd Suite 250, Alameda, CA 94502. The upgraded AllCells facility boasts a 20% increase in collection capacity, facilitating quicker and more efficient order fulfillment.
It houses cell manufacturing and
processing cleanrooms adhering to EU standards and enhances the donor experience through easy accessibility, ample parking, and a modern, inviting atmosphere.
Additionally, Discovery's Proteome Center has incorporated the Olink Explore HT platform into its services. This technology can measure over 5,300 proteins, significantly augmenting processing throughput capacity to handle thousands of samples weekly and delivering data four times faster than previous generations. This addition complements the Proteome Center's existing capabilities, including Olink Explore, Target, Focus, Flex, mass spectrometry, and Luminex-based services.

Acknowledging its rapid expansion and growing client interest in its diverse offerings, Discovery has launched a revamped company website, dls.com. The new website features a modern design and an intuitive user interface, enhancing the digital client experience.
It provides comprehensive information and streamlines the digital interaction process, aligning more closely with the company's mission and showcasing the enhanced capabilities of its AllCells and Gentest Divisions.
