As Omak LLC, by undertaking the production of flexible film heaters since 2006; we succeeded to initiate the
production of items that had never been produced in Turkey before and through the domestic production, we decreased the manufacturing costs as the result of our cooperation with chemical industry,
Defense&Aero space, medical companies and universities.
While undertaking the above-mentioned works, we have been interacting with the chemical industry most. We assisted them in finding solution to their common problems. Now, with the V3185 and V4185 Heating Systems, which we completed the R&D works, we are at the verge of a similar result.
The fact that most of the barrel and drum heaters in the market are imported in addition to the concern to be able to address various types of barrels leads to structural problems. One of the most important of those problems is regarding with the size and dimensions.
A heater that fits to smaller drums or barrels means uncovered areas in larger drums and barrels. This would lead to loss of heat in larger barrels. The cabinet type barrel heaters that prevent this result in occupying an area as much as the barrel to be heated. Therefore, it comes with stock costs.
There is another compromising issue that is the requirement of higher powers to meet with the requirements of all types of models within a large spectrum of barrels and drums. This would inevitably lead to the unnecessary deterioration of the installations or would give rise for requirements for even higher power grids.
Our barrel heaters, which are the solution for all the above indicated issues, wraps around the barrels and drums completely and thanks to its fine structure, transfer the heat to the product rapidly.
In addition, while eliminating the contact arcing or contact adhesion thanks to the digital temperature controls, it also offers sensitive control of temperature as well.
The fact that the products are made of film heating elements means that they will last longer compared to the cable, wire or flat heating elements and enables you to store the product easily when not in use. You can store around 16-barrel heaters in their original packing within a 1 square meter space.
Homogenous heating surface, which is crucial for chemical products, is decreased to a gap area down to 1 cm between two heating lines. In this way, the gap between the heating lines, which may go up to 10–15 cm in some heaters, is decreased to negligible levels, which increased the homogenous heating quality and the general efficiency.
V3185 and V4585 take this to a new level. Unlike the standard barrel heaters, these models read measurements from 3 different points and therefore provide sensitive temperature control.
This feature gives the user the option to active a desired section or to change the temperature of a desired section while offers homogenous heating. Furthermore, since the overall cooling will be decreased in the section, where there is no material, the energy saving is achieved as well.
