Shoes produced to protect the foot from external factors; In time, it has acquired the
position of an object that reflects and influences the social position of the human being. Shoes today range from leather to fabric; It can be decorated with different accessories and designed in thousands of different varieties.
The shoes, which still maintain their place as a status indicator, are also affected by the trends that change every year.
Trends that change every year, especially with the introduction of social media into our lives, spread much faster and are adopted by large masses. For this reason, manufacturers and designers in the fashion industry follow these trends and shape their designs according
to these trends.
When we examine the shoe trends of the 2022-2023 Autumn / Winter season, we come across pieces in which the vivid colors of summer and different fabrics are used together. Leather, which is a never-ending trend in shoes, is also very fashionable this year. In addition, gothic pieces adorn the windows.
Thicker platforms in high heels, flat leather boots are among the fashion trends of this year.
One of this year’s fashions is the trend called “preppy”, which includes school-going clothes and shoes.
In the shoe industry influenced by this trend, we come across Oxford style shoes and loafers. This season, we see a return to the beginning of the 2000s. Patent leather pointed-toed boots and shiny shoes that were fashionable in the 2000s; it combines with the fashionable colors of this season and decorate the windows.

Rain boots are also among the season trends. Plastic and waterproof rain boots became fashionable again after the 2010s and appeared on the catwalks.

Chelsea boots re-entered the fashion world’s radar two years ago. These boots, designed by a shoemaker in the 19th century in Chelsea, England, adorn the shop windows this season.
Moreover, in shades of pink and lilac; There are also colorful models. In addition to this, Chelsea boots, which are designed in black and with a higher platform, influenced by the gothic style of this season, are among the models preferred by consumers.
