In our interview, Mr. Gürhan Gulle, Comercial Director of ABT answered our questions. Gulle gave information about the consultancy services and trainings provided by ABT. 

Could you please briefly tell us about your educational and professional background?

I was born and grow up in Istanbul in 1979. I completed the departments of Machinery and Economics at two different universities. I started my professional career in PwC Turkey. Then i respectively worked as a Deputy Country Controller at DHL Global Forwarding and at the end of four-year period I worked in the FD position which started in the Pulver Group of Companies and lasted for 5 years. In 2013, I moved to Allgeier IT Solutions Turkey which is affiliated to Germany’s one of the largest Holding Organisation and i was appointed as CEO after 3 months. Until 2016, I completed various private and public digitalization projects as well as conducting Consulting Services. After serving as COO and then CEO in domestic small household appliances manufacturing and sales companies between 2016 to 2017, I founded ABT Fluid and Paint Technologies company with Atilla Çağlı and Alkan Çağlı where i am currently working as a Managing Partner at the end of 2017.

Could you please give information about ABT’s history and milestones? What is the current structure of ABT?

Obviously, ABT has been established by people who have proven knowledge and experience to provide products to domestic and foreign customers who aim at the technological structuring related to their sectors under the heading of paint and fluid technology, to realize improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity, to provide consultancy services on fluid process control, electrostatic system integration, spraying and dosing applications. We can understand in nowadays how appropriate the decision we make is by directing us as a multi-faceted company in line with all these demands of the sector. Our company, which has completed many renewal, development and special purpose projects since its establishment continues to increase its reputations day by day with the effect of its references.

To which industries and with what kind of products does ABT mainly serve? Could you please give information about ABT’s products, brands and services?

Mainly to Automotive Main and Supplier Industry; We provide services to many companies in the Aviation, Wood, White Goods and General Industry under the main headings of, product, improvement and development, project, maintenance, training and consultancy, including spraying, dosing, robotic technology systems. In addition to using the products of the world’s famous brands we distribute during these activities, we share our reliable, high quality,innovative, cost - effective support solutions by including the products which are our own production in special purpose projects.

Could you please tell about your domestic and international sales activities? To which regions and what kind of products and services does ABT mainly sell?

Looking from the big picture, we can say that the beginning of our sales activities planned for 2019 and later on is the penetration of multinational companies and establishing the Global Operations Network accordingly. In addition, building loyalty within our existing Brand Strategy and supporting penetration. If we can achieve the desired substitution effect abroad, we can achieve a certain amount of export increase each year and at the end of the next 3 years, we can create the domestic and international balance and increase our own equity reserves. When we look at the physical positive properties of ABT it can be sorted as; production technology, the way of its business, the countries in which it does and will do business, the degree of competition for its products - services and price developments. Although we have been involved in many countries with special purpose products and projects so far, we will be present in the global projects in the upcoming period in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, France, Angola, China and several South American countries.

As ABT company, What kind of training and consultancy services do you offer?

We provide practical technical painting and coating trainings to our customers in order to make simple but effective improvements in Fluid and Paint consumption and to reduce the existing losses and thus to reduce costs. During these trainings, we convey technical information about surface preparation, product selection and coating applications that are required to correct the defects identified beforehand, and convey the works that are required to increase productivity and quality to the operators in the next stage and introduce new technology to our customers every day. For our other service project design and investment consultancy; We examine the investment expectations and risk limits of our customers, and then present our products and project solutions with the highest risk-free or risk-minimized ROI in the output of our analyzes to ensure that they make investments in accordance with their assets and budgets.

Can you give information about ABT’s environmental policy and sustainability approach? What kind of works and studies are performed in the area of worker health and safety?

The most critical point for sustainable development is the existence of a sustainable environment. Acting on the principle of “Green Audit”, we contribute to the reduction of paint waste and make improvements in order to have a greener nature. We strive to produce solutions for our customers to paint more products with less paint. As ABT family, we aim to determine the functional environmental dimensions of our activities, to minimize the possible negative impacts and to ensure environmental sustainability in every work we do. Therefore, in line with our respect for the environment, it is our company’s environmental policy and sustainability approach to comply with all legal regulations and conditions, to take related actions that will show that all natural resources are not unlimited, to provide and control waste, to ensure the integration of renewable energy performances in our products and services. In our business and in the services we provide, our first condition is to keep occupational health and safety risks under control. Working in a closed cabinet every day during the painting process threatens the health of the operators. For this reason, we need to ensure the optimization of appropriate working conditions as well as the requirements of the law. We provide necessary preventive and preventive measures in order to prevent occupational risks, protect health and safety and eliminate accident factors in relation to all the services and products that we provide, and provide relevant trainings on time and repeat them in a planned manner.

What are the priority criteria of ABT when creating investment plans? Does ABT have any investment plans in near and far future?

First of all, we aim to be branded to be reliable and have dignity. We want to enable people to talk about our company when we are not with them, and we want to extend our turnkey package solutions abroad by using our domestic production facilities in the middle and long terms. In all of our 1-3-5 years plans, the main purpose is to touch people’s lives. This is a great feeling, the smile and happiness of our customers and business partners is precious for us. Therefore, the first criterion for our investment plans is to be guiding. Then taking an advantage of the automation process we have priorities for energy efficiency, transfer efficiency, production capacity increase and surface quality improvements. You can be sure that ABT will achieve total quality in R&D, Innovation and Technology in order to be an arbiter in determining the direction of the sector for the upcoming periods in which we take place and accelerate new developments unabatedly.
