Kimpur Grows in Europe with its New Production Facility in Latvia

Turkey’s polyurethane system house, Kimteks Poliüretan San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (KİMPUR) has taken significant steps to strengthen its presence in Europe with its investment (with the capacity of 25 thousand tons) in Latvia. Being among Turkey's top 500 industrial enterprises, Kimpur established a new company, “SIA Kimpur Europe”, and then collaborated with “Adamantan SA”, which refers to the partnership between “Kimpur” and “Adamantan SA” with the shares of 75% Kimpur and 25% Adamantan, respectively.  Accordingly, SIA Kimpur Europe will continue its activities as a subsidiary of Kimpur in Latvia, which is one of the most important strategic points in Europe. Kimpur Grows in Europe with its New Production Facility in Latvia This investment will ensure Kimpur to increase its production capacity by an additional 25 thousand tons, and to strengthen its competitive position in European markets. The Polyurethane systems produced by Kimpur are used in different sectors such as, footwear, automotive, furniture, heating and cooling and insulation-construction industries. Kimpur leads the sector by exporting more than 45 countries and has been producing polyurethane systems for different sectors such as automotive, footwear, furniture, building and construction for 39 years. The company is taking firm steps towards its goal to having a strong position in the European market and increasing its sales with these investments. Cavidan Karaca  
Latvia is to be our strategic investment point
Kimpur’s CEO “Cavidan KARACA” stated, “We always aim to provide better, faster and higher quality services. In line with this goal, we made our investment in Latvia. Thanks to our cooperation in Latvia, we will strengthen our presence in Europe and create a strategic connection point. With our new company, SIA Kimpur Europe, which offers a very significant advantage in terms of production and logistics, we will provide faster supply to our customers in European markets and increase our market share”.   Kimpur is a wholly domestic polyurethane system manufacturer in Turkey and one of the well known system houses among the global system houses. In terms of investments on technology and R&D, Kimpur has made an investment with a capacity of 50 thousand tons in Düzce OSB (located on the Black Sea shore between Ankara and Istanbul). Kimpur focuses on sustainability and recycling, and concentrates on a strategic framework in Latvia. Accordingly, Kimpur published its 2021 Sustainability Report last week, and with its projects on sustainability, aims to leave a more livable world for future generations.
