Baykon has launched BX30 Plus and BX30D Plus panel type advanced weighing indicators for industrial weighing applications such as process control, weight control, classifying and filling. BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus was designed based on cuttingedge technology to meet customer requirements of industrial process weighing applications with its fast measurement, high speed communication, very powerful interfacing, internet connectivity and excellent durability as well as its favorable price advantage. They can be used with analog or digital load cell respectively. Vibrations on the mechanical structure especially due to high speed mixers at reactor weighing are eliminated by specified dynamic, adaptive and statistical filters.

Bright, Multi-Color and Wide-Angle Display with Weight and Alphanumeric Information Line in Large Characters

The indicator is equipped with a bright, multi-color and wide-angle LCD display with 6 digits weight line at 22 mm height and 16 digits alphanumeric information line at 8 mm height. It includes 6 different user-languages, a bar graph, clear alphanumeric keypad and function keys with self-explanatory icons. These features provide easy set-up and ergonomic human machine interface.

BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus has SmartAPP feature which enhances operator interaction by means of bar graph, display color and audio signal to follow the weighing process easily and effectively in checkweighing, classifying, filling and peak hold build-in applications. In addition to these features BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus has 4 different memories with 500 items capacity each: 2x ID memories, preset tare memory and set memory that can save up to 6 set-points for each record.

High input sensitivity, fast measurement and large measuring range that automatically set up to -125 mV/+125 mV are indisputable advantage of BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus in force measurement applications. Feature of holding peak values up to 10 values gives a great advantage to BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus in compression and tension tests. BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus Indicators have approval of up to 10.000 divisions for legal-for-trade applications according to EN45501 and OIML R76 for single range, up to 3 x multi range and up to 3 x multi interval scales. Display resolution can be increased up to 300.000 divisions at industrial applications. The measurement unit can be set to g, kg, lb, klb, N, kN and none.

BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus offer broad onboard standard interfaces such as RS232, RS422, RS485, Ethernet TCP/IP and USB ports without any extra cost. Additionally, SD card connector that can be used for uploading/downloading back up files of the instrument is offered as a standard. 4 digital inputs can be used for zeroing, taring, clear, print, hold, peak hold etc. and 5 digital outputs can be programmable as free setpoints with basic, window and threshold features in basic weighing. Digital I/O’s are set automatically to the values entered before in accordance with the selected SmartAPP application. Multiple Control Modes for digital outputs enable the instrument to be used for sorting, filling, batching and more. Different BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus variants offers various additional options including analog output and digital input /output configurations as well as interfaces for the key Field-bus in the market of process control e.g. Profibus, Profinet, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Ethernet IP, Canopen, CC-Link, CC-Link IE, EtherCat, Powerlink. Importantly, the digital I/Os of BX30 Plus/BX30D Plus can be controlled by a PLC as a Remote I/O reducing the need for separate PLC IO modules and additional cabling. The ultra-fast analogue output of the indicator also has 15 bits very high resolution and long-term stability. Setup and Labelling is extremely easy on the BX30 Plus with a simple menu driven operation and 5 different preset label formats available including single line, multi-line and EPL format with barcodes.

Extensive diagnostic functionality that allows engineers to test keys, serial ports, USB port, digital I/O, display, load cell (analog&digital) and printer quickly and effectively.
