Boron Miracle for Insulation
Boron mine forms the basis of BORPAINT’s Boron Mineral Thermal Insulation products. As it is known, 72% of the total reserves of the boron mine in the world are in our country and this mine has a wide range of uses. On the way we started with the question of whether it would be possible to make a product that will provide very good heat and water insulation, will not burn and will not put a load on the building, we have developed our products under the BORPAINT brand as a result of the hard work of our R&D team and offered them to our country.
First of all, I would like to state that our products are a pioneering technology in our country and in the world. BORPAINT is a special heat insulation paint that is formulated for interior and exterior surfaces, with boron additives, all produced in Turkey with domestic facilities, has vapor permeability and breathing properties, and provides very good heat, sound, fire and water insulation on interior and exterior surfaces. The special formula that makes up BORPAINT, prevents the formation of condensation by eliminating thermal bridges and the temperature difference between the wall surface and the surrounding air, in addition to its high quality heat and water insulation properties, thus it gains an excellent anti-mildew feature. It also has antibacterial properties.
The special formulation created with boron additives, acrylic copolymers, special pigments, and fillers in the content of BORPAINT provides a low thermal transmission coefficient to the product, giving it an excellent thermal insulation property and the ability to absorb sound waves. Although its thermal insulation and sound absorption properties vary according to the applied thickness, it provides energy savings of up to 50%.
With the fire-retardant boron components in BORPAINT, it provides the necessary fire protection for the building (duration, amount of smoke, no dripping, non-progression of the fire, etc.). When BORPAINT is applied on inner surface walls and ceilings, it reflects and traps the heat generated inside, preventing it from escaping outside. When used on the exterior, it reflects the heat and cold air waves like a mirror, preventing them from penetrating the building surface and thus the interior. BORPAINT boron heat insulation paint is produced from completely natural components, so it does not contain any substances harmful to health. It can be easily applied to all kinds of surfaces, bringing the comfort in living spaces to the highest level.
BORPAINT is not affected by dust hot and cold water. It cannot be deformed by insects and pests. BORPAINT boron heat insulation paint, which is a durable product with long-lasting use, does not deteriorate over time, does not rot, does not mold, does not corrode and rust. It can be used on the interior and exterior of buildings. It creates a safe, affordable and comfortable living space by providing heat, water, sound and fire insulation at the same time.
The general perception among people is that the thicker the insulation, the better. We are assertive that this understanding will disappear when users meet with BORPAINT products, thickness is no longer important in thermal insulation. If we need to describe this with an example, thin thermal clothing has replaced the thick coats and sweaters in the past. Of course, advances in technology have made this possible. Our products can also be viewed with this logic, and we can describe the success of our product as the result of the technology we have achieved through our R&D studies.
Heat transfer is an energy transfer caused by temperature difference. In any case where there is a temperature difference, there is a continuous heat transfer. Since the heat
transfer property of the boron mineral we use in BORPINT boron heat insulation paint is very low, the temperature is transmitted to the next layer very little, without being important. Our products provide excellent protection against heat and cold, and can be used on both exterior and interior surfaces. When applied as a ceiling paint, it prevents the heat generated in the space from escaping and provides savings.
BORSTUCCO Thermal Insulation Plaster
Another product of ours, BORSTUCCO Thermal Insulation Plaster, has very different
properties compared to its counterparts. Most importantly, this product is ready to be
use when the cover is opened. Other thermal insulation plasters are generally in powder
form. They are poured into buckets at the construction site, mixed with water and prepared for use by the appliers. However, the amount of water used during this preparation is not standardized and the mixing homogeneity may not always fully achieved, and these facts may cause the material to crack and spill after it is applied to the wall. There are no such risks in BORSTUCCO Thermal Insulation Plaster, because the product is prepared in the factory environment and within the framework of the same formula. Thus, when the applier open the lid of the bucket, the product can be used immediately. Another great advantage of BORSTUCCO Thermal Insulation Plaster is; it can provide sufficient and quality thermal insulation with a thickness of only 4-5 mm.
BORFIREPROOF Fire Resistant Paint
Another product that we produce with boron additives is our BORFIREPROOF Fire Resistant Paint. Since this product does not burn even at 1450 degrees, it can play a life-saving role in many buildings such as schools, hotels, kindergartens and hospitals. The usage areas are quite wide, we can list them as follows.
• In the bearing parts of the buildings,
• In safe escape tunnels,
• All kinds of plastered, painted and unpainted interior and exterior surfaces, concrete, wood, pipe systems and steel structures,
• In drywall partitions and ceilings,
• In all places where non-flammability is required,

• In plumbing pipes and in areas where pipes pass.
