Bentonite in Solvent and Water-Based Systems

Aluminum and magnesium-rich volcanic ash, tuff and lava formed as a result of chemical decomposition, mainly montmorillonite containing clay ‘bentonite’ is defined as. Bentonite is a versatile clay used in sectors such as paint, agriculture, mining, food, ceramics, cement, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, engineering geology. BENTOVIS ® series products regulate the rheology by providing thixotropic effect to paint, provide an application suitable for working outside horizontal surfaces with slip control, prevent brush marks in application with excellent spreading, prevent application of splashes and prevent pigment collapse in products stored for a long time with viscosity control features.
