Axalta Announces Partnership with Steer Automotive
Axalta, a leading global coatings company, has announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Steer Automotive Group, the UK’s largest independently owned vehicle repair organization.
In accordance with the agreement, Axalta has become the single preferred paint partner by supplying its premium refinish brand Standox to Steer Automotive Group’s 57 UK sites.

The company has kept up with its acquisition- and site-opening-based growth strategy. One of these new sites established Steer Prestige, which is focused on the luxury and prestige market. Like all of Steer's sites, it uses cutting-edge technology to power the most eco-friendly solutions and deliver a noticeably different experience.
Steer Prestige won Best New Bodyshop at the Auto Body Professionals Bodyshop Excellence Awards in November 2022, and the Group took home Fastest Growing Bodyshop for the third consecutive year.
Products from U-POL, which was acquired by Axalta in 2021 and known for its expertise in Refinish accessories and protective coatings, was also included in the agreement.
