Surface treatment Powders of colors, used in cosmetics consists of mostly hydrophilic fine particles, upon applying to cosmetics, stability is decreased with bad texture. Thus surface treatment with silicone, fatty acid, natural or resin of treatments on the powder surface, it is easiliy applied to cosmetics and new function that exsiting powder does not have, is added. This is powder surface treatment technology.
With this technology in applications in cosmetic formulations;
• With surface treatment technology, while the dispersion in the main raw material is very weak, the dispersion ability increases in the surface treatment, improves of touch feeling and spreadability,
• It secures stability of finished products,
• Skin irritation is reduced,
• One of the most important properties is the color and odor change in the finished product can be prevented by surface treatment technologies.
One of these applications is the ITM surface treatment. ITM coated pigments and filler are Alumina –free, rutile type of high-purity titanium cioxide, iron oxides, talc, sericite and mica which are double-treated with non-silicone surface treatment agent, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate Myristic Acid. It is the raw material of our Korean supplier EASTHILL of which we are the main distributor.
ITM coated pigments provide especialy excellent whiteness, high-hiding power and dispersibility in Ester Oil and Hydrocarbon Oil. It also gives smooth texture of fatty acid used in double surface treatment.
With high water repellency properties are enables long lasting make up effect.
They are suitable for silicone-free formulations and provide this claim. Additionally high purity iron oxides with strict heavy metal management are used.
ITM coated Talc, Mica, Sericite are provided soft texture, whiteness, silky texture, excellent sprediability properties,non toxicity with high quality and without skin iritation, long lasting make up. Especialiy Talc V- ITM has certificate of Asbestos free.
