We had a pleasant interview with Mr. Hasan Hüseyin Engin, Company Owner and Director of eMEDa about development of the company and products which serve to sector.
Could you briefly tell our readers about yourself and your educational background?
I was graduated from Middle East Technical University, Chemical Engineering Department and then got my master degree in Bosphorus University about characterization of polymer mixtures.
During following 15 years I have worked as a senior level leader in chemical industry and then I decided to establish eMEDa to design instruments in order to ease production difficulties which I had faced at the production side.
Could you tell us about the development process of your company from its foundation to the present day?
eMEDa was founded in 2003 as a service company for tinting systems. Beside representing of high quality tinting system suppliers, we developed some innovative equipments to ease life in laboratory and in production.
Could you tell us about your products, your target group and the industries that you serve?
We offer innovative equipments such us Emok which reduces drying times of coating samples from hours to minutes and speeds up colour measuring cycle. We also produce and assembly various sizes of mixers, dispersers and filling systems for the production of various materials.
We mostly serve paint industry but our products can be used in the other sectors, as well. Now we are able to design and provide complete tailor- made turn key special lab and production systems.
Do you provide any support for your customers before and after sales? Would you please inform about quality assurance policies you apply, in order for the continuation of your company and dependability of your products?
As we started as a service company, of course we provide technical consultancy and support before and after sales. After assembling of our products, we always monitor and back up our customers.
We use ISO 9001-2015 quality management system to ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services. We manufacture equipments according to CE directives and these equipments get tested by independent laboratories.
Our target is to create ground-breaking designs and provide cutting edge equipments that make processes fast and independent from operator.
Turkish machinery companies which serve for chemical industry have been expanded to many countries now.
What are your opinions about Turkish production of chemical industry equipment?
There has been a good development especially for the last 10 years. Turkish machinery companies which serve for chemical industry have been expanded to many countries now.
Could you give inform about your goals and future projects?
Our target is to create ground-breaking designs and provide cutting edge equipments that make processes fast and independent from operator.
Beside emok-fast film dryer and ekta-bucket test system, we started prototyping of etok fast powder coating curing system and edos valve robot for filling of difficult materials as small batches.
What kind of activities do you perform on protection of environment and work safety sensitivity?
Beside efficiency and functionality, of course environment and safety are basic criterias in our designs and prototypes. Furthermore, we manufacture our products without compromising environmentally friendly technologies. We also do periodical trainings and evaluations at our company.
