Light and Comfortable Steps Being among Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises, Kimpur is a polyurethane system house with 39 years of experience in the chemical industry and the largest capacity of 129.000 tons in Turkey and 25.000 tons in Europe (subsidiary in Latvia). With its investment in Duzce, the company aims to increase its total production capacity to approximately 200,000 tons and to be among the top 10 system houses in the world. Kimpur has been producing tailor-made polyurethane systems for the production of all kinds of soles . Our footwear product line, called KIMfoot® Footwear System has a wide variety from low-density slippers and sports systems to high-intensity occupational safety systems. This product line is divided into different groups based on their areas of usage. The footwear industry changes every year in line with the demands of the users, and the market volume is consistently expanding.high-density and hard soles were mostly preferred in the 2000s, whereas, in tday’s modern world, softer, more flexible and ultralow-density soles are preferred. Altough flexible and low-density soles could only be produced with EVA material in the past, our company has developed polyurethane systems with superior physical properties and higher production efficiency compared to EVA material, based on the studies carried out in the R&D Center. Based on the R&D research conducted by Turkishtime last year, Kimpur was the only polyurethane system house among the top 10 companies that could increase their R&D investments every year and spend the highest amount on R&D in the Chemicals and Products sector in 2020. Kimpur has also developed two more new products that make a difference with their high advantages in the footwear industry. These systems are Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Sports Shoe Sole and Slipper System. Today, the most common problem in the sole systems is the deterioration of physical properties as the density decreases. Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Sports Soles and Slippers System does not lose its elasticity at densities of 340 kg / m3. In addition to a weight advantage of %10-20 based on the mold volume, it also offers the advantage of high cold flex resistance, which is one of the most significant features of a shoe sole. Light and Comfortable Steps The reaction profile of Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Sports Sole System is given in Table 1. Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Sports Sole System The Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Slipper System has smooth skin structure and high dimensional stability at a molded density of 210 kg / m3. Our system, unique products in the industry, ensures a 20% weight advantage and enables the production of slippers with high elasticity and very smooth physical properties. It also offers an advantage for production with its short demoulding time, wide operation range and fusible prepolymer. The reaction profile of Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Slipper System is given in Table 2. Ultra Low Density KIMfoot® Slipper System The Kimpur R&D team continues to obtain accurate analyzes and fast results using low pressure machines and necessary equipment in the simulation center, in line with the needs of our customers.
