Densurf brand was born as a start-up as a result of TÜBİTAK projects. Our aim is to expand Densurf and position it as a company within the Denge Group. For this purpose, we took an important step by opening a project office in Teknopark İzmir.
We will use the advantages provided by Teknopark İzmir to strengthen our university-industry cooperation, to apply to EU projects and to develop partnerships with paint manufacturers located in İzmir with a very strong technical-technological infrastructure.
Technological developments and digitization offer innovative opportunities to many sectors. What are your activities on the digital transformation and globalization?
Within Denge Group, we called 2021 the “Year of Digital Transformation”. For us, 2020 was the year we developed and expanded our R&D. Globalization has pushed companies to act more agile to secure their future positions.
We have made our R&D center more competent to strengthen and accelerate our customer services, and now we are developing our technology to provide our services faster and with
higher quality. In addition to these, we have declared 2022 as the “Year of Sustainability” in order to reduce the traces that this speed and growth will leave on the world.
We organized ‘Sustainable Development Days’ in 2021 to prepare both ourselves and our customers for the next transformation. Our aim is to support Denge’s sustainability vision, which has existed since its establishment, with both our digital transformation and sustainability projects.
What do you like to do in your spare time, what are your hobbies?
I usually have a hard time finding free time for myself. It takes all my time to bring academic and professional life together. Activities I enjoy are reading books and doing puzzles. Before the pandemic, I was going to yoga 3 days a week. I am waiting for normalization to go back to those days.
