In the interview we held, the CEO of INSPRO, Mr. Osman Çiçekli, answered our questions. Çiçekli gave information about the services and products offered by INSPRO.

Could you please briefly tell our readers about yourself, your educational and professional background?
After completing the primary and secondary education in my hometown of Malatya, where I was born in 1979, I completed my high school education as a boarder at Konya Science High School. I graduated from Marmara University Industrial Engineering Department in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree and started my professional life in Istanbul. While I was working as a System Design Engineer, I also performed my military service. In 2005, we established our engineering and contracting company ARTNIVO, which was active in Turkey at that time but only in Europe at present, and thus my entrepreneurial adventure began. In 2013, I successfully completed the “Occupational Health and Safety” master’s degree program, which was opened under Industrial Engineering department of Yıldız Technical University, and subsequently became an A-class occupational safety specialist. In 2019, I successfully completed the training organized by the European Industrial Insulation Foundation (EiiF) in Bremen and became Turkey’s first and only Tipcheck (Thermal Insulation Performance Inspection) Engineer.
When was INSPRO founded? Could you tell us about the history of INSPRO, the investments realized, and the current structure of the Company?
INSPRO was actually a spin-off project of our first venture, ARTNIVO, which I mentioned above. Because ARTNIVO, which carries out engineering and project implementation works in the field of industrial insulation, INSPRO was established in 2015 for the manufacturing of “removable insulation systems” used in similar projects, and started its activities in its first production facility, Çerkezköy. In 2019, it moved to its current production facility, Beylikdüzü OSB, and continues its activities with its CNC integrated modern machine park, logistics advantages, design and production infrastructure, which is unique in its sector.
Could you please give information about the products and services offered by INSPRO? In Turkey and abroad, in which regions does INSPRO operate?
INSPRO is a very active company both at local market and international market with designing and manufacturing trace-heating/process-heating systems and textile compensator systems together with removable insulation systems. In addition, INSPRO provides engineering and design services for industrial insulation and trace-heating applications, supplies all technical raw materials and other materials used in related projects, provides maintenance services to the relevant facilities during planned (periodic) or unplanned downtimes within similar projects. Any facility with hot or cold components (pipeline, equipment, turbine, tank, etc.) is a potential client for INSPRO. There is no regional restriction locally and we can deliver INSPRO products and services to any place in demand across the country. Although there is a similar situation abroad, we regularly export INSPRO’s products to the European Economic Area and MENA.
Could you please give information about INSPRO’s innovation and R&D studies?
Frankly, we have no problems getting our R&D and innovation-based investments approved in our annual budget plans, provided to increase our market share with high value-added products, and to consolidate our current position by integrating new technologies and methods into our processes. Undoubtedly, factors such as revealing a brand-new product or system, developing existing products or systems or production methods with new technologies, are the main sources of personal motivation for me and our entire engineering team. In recent years, we have achieved and continue to achieve serious results in issues such as flexible insulation systems in which heating components are integrated, control elements of these products and their integration within whole facility automation. In addition, the production technology that minimizes the margin of error with 3D design for the first time in Turkey and then CNC-based fully automatic production line is another major innovative change implemented by INSPRO engineers, which is a very good example. INSPRO
As INSPRO, could you please give information about your environmental policy and sustainability approach?
INSPRO, in line with its vision (to be a constantly developing global company) aims to manufacture goods and services with zero occupational and environmental hazard. Therefore, INSPRO invests in people, knowledge and technology in order to meet & exceed the satisfaction of not only its customers, but also all stakeholders (suppliers, employees, environment, society, government institutions, non-governmental organizations, professional chambers, etc.) In this context, a common point of view in accordance with the relevant requirements has been shaped as a form of organizational behaviour and has been implemented at all levels of our organization. On the other hand, since our products are environmentally friendly products that play a leading role in energy saving by their nature, they are also excellent solutions for our customers to ensure compliance with their own environmental policies with relevant improvements in production processes.
What kind of investments does INSPRO plan for the coming periods? Which criteria does INSPRO prioritize when planning investments?
Certainly, like all companies, INSPRO plans to make investments that are compatible with macro trends and support export activities. Although there seems to be uncertainty in the long-term forecasts of these trends today, INSPRO has an important advantage. Namely, today’s energy costs have reached incredible levels, and although there are occasional corrections, energy supply will remain the most significant cost item of manufacturers for a long time to come. According to this, we do not expect a decrease in demand in the short/medium term, on the contrary, we reckon an increasing trend. For this reason, as I just mentioned, we plan to continue to invest in production technology and capacity-increasing/supporting infrastructures, which are supposed to be supporting factors for export activities.
