Finish Thompson Barrel Pumps are used for safe and trouble-free application of transfer of fluids supplied in containers such as barrels, drums, totes containers, and also for circulation of chemicals.
The use of barrel pumps in enterprises will allow fluid transfer to be performed much faster than flow by pouring or flooding, and will have positive reflections on labor and efficiency. In addition to this, it is possible to prevent the risks that may arise in terms of employee health and possible flow, contamination, dripping and pollution problems in the operating environment from the very beginning.
Drum pumps consist of two parts which are immersion tube (pump) and drive motor; the combination of these two is determined by the properties of the fluid to be transferred (chemical compatibility) and the process requirements. Basically:
Pump Options: With PP, PVDF or Stainless steel body, Stainless steel and Hastelloy C shaft material options are available in 3 basic constructions: axial fan (high flow), screw (medium viscosity) and twisted (high viscosity).
Drive Motor Options: There are various alternatives including. 2850 ... 14000 rpm, single-phase, three-phase, 12v DC, exproof, air-driven, speed-adjusted etc.
