DowAksa Lays the Foundation of Its New Integrated Facility
The groundbreaking ceremony of DowAksa’s new integrated facility, which will be built on an area of 117 thousand square meters in Yalova, took place.
T.C Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Yalova Governor Muammer Erol, Yalova Deputy Meliha Akyol, Yalova Deputy Mayor Mustafa Tutuk, Akkök Holding Chairman Raif Ali Dinçkök, Akkök Holding Chief Executive Officer and DowAksa Deputy Chairman Ahmet Dördüncü, DowAksa Chief Executive Officer Douglas Parks and the company’s senior executives attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Dow Aksa’s new integrated facility to be established.
DowAksa’s new integrated facility, which will be built on an area of 117 thousand square meters in Yalova, will increase Turkey’s share in the industrial sectors using carbon fiber.
The facility is expected to start production at full capacity in 2023. It was also stated that the facility will create employment for 500 thousand people in Yalova.
