Archroma makes its Color Atlas online library available for free in fashion, apparel, and textile design software. Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals for sustainable solutions, announced today that the Color Atlas library's 5'760 color references will be available in ASE file format for open access to users of most design software for fashion, apparel, and textiles. Designers and stylists now have free access to the largest library of cotton and polyester colors. ASE or .ase (for Adobe Swatch Exchange) files are used to upload, share and access colors through the swatch palette of design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and most CAD (Computer-aided design) systems.
