Toray Composite Materials America, Inc., a Toray Group company specializing in PAN-based carbon fiber and carbon fiber prepreg, has entered into a long-term carbon fiber supply agreement with Syensqo SA. The agreement, spanning five years, took effect in January 2026.
Through this agreement, both companies will work to enhance supply stability and resilience across aircraft, space & defense applications, thereby strengthening the global supply chain and contributing to long-term market growth.
With the recovery of global passenger demand and progress in next-generation aircraft development, the aircraft market is expected to maintain stable medium- to long-term growth. The renewal and advancement of aircraft is also continuing to progress, thus driving firm growth in carbon fiber demand.
